The “Work Box” created by the 4 international design agencies: Gensler, M Moser, Space Matrix and B+H - Foreseeing the future 2025
The “Adventure” by Gensler featured a wavy and semi-transparent design that surrounded the area, which implied that the space and people were interconnected. The “Cloud: Resonating Space” by M Moser combined Social, Physical and Digital design to create optimal work environments. It divided the area into a free space for gathering creating a pleasant atmosphere like home. The “Boundless Space” by Space Matrix was designed as a circular and lively ecosystem that stimulated people’s imagination. The “Out of the Box” by B+H Architects was a hypercube 4 dimensional space, which illustrated the “Allegory of the cave” by Plato and explored the ideal state of our community. It stimulated led visitors to explore the relationships between time and space, technology and nature. The Playces collection by Lamex was suitable for offices, homes, hotels, airport lounge, café and restaurants. The Playces collection was exhibited to support the dynamic design and future workplace. It also highlighted the importance of versatility and interaction between individuals, organizations and space.
In the Procurement Education Hall , Lamex shared a project reference of the headquarters of McDonald in North China. The project was shown an open and flexible workplace where people were able to focus on work, rest and collaborate. Employees were able to enjoy better designs and more workplace functions by using adjustable furniture, and connection with outdoor spaces. The Ingage Sofa collection, by the design team of Mr. Steve Meier from Chicago, USA, the design director of Gensler, was inspired by the curves and shapes of Cobblestone. By putting natural curves into the workplace, it created a fantastic collaborative area. During this great event, Lamex also launched its official TikTok account, so that people were able to see and experience different office furniture in videos.
The 21th Century International Chair Display Hall was exhibited many remarkable and signature design of international office chairs designed from 2000 to 2019It showcased the highest level of international office chair design and manufacturing since 2000, and provided another perspective for people to understand international office chair brands and high-quality products. Lamex exhibited 2 classical designs chairs designed by famous designers: the “Acuity” by Mr. Bruce Fifield, and “19” by Mr. Marcus Koepke.
Lamex becomes a member of the Shenzhen Furniture Standardization Committee to develop furniture standards
The determination of Lamex to great product design and production leads to great products and workplace designs. The Shenzhen Standards Certification System is dedicated to “Set up Shenzhen Standards, Make Shenzhen as a Brand, Build up reputations for Shenzhen, Improve Shenzhen quality”. It is designed to be a leading certification system in China that advocates the chase for great qualities. The Shenzhen Standard Certification Work Press Conference was held on 20th August from 15:30 to 17:00 in Hall 8 of Shenzhen World Convention & Exhibition Center. It was co-organized by the Shenzhen Standards Working Committee, Market Supervision Administration of Shenzhen Municipality, Shenzhen Standards Certification Union, Shenzhen Furniture Associations, and SAIDE Testing. Lamex is invited to join the Shenzhen Furniture Standardization Committee to develop furniture standards. On behalf of Lamex, Mr. Howard Huang, the General Manager of Lamex (Southern China), was received the official committee certificate on the event stage.
