From May 15 to 21, the week-long launch of C³Office will explore seven dimensions of connection: self, family, partners, society, growth, love, and beauty. Departing from traditional opening events, C³Office will transform into a “Connection Lab,” featuring everything from intimate design salons to public family-friendly activities — making the workspace a platform for social engagement. Through immersive, scenario-based interactions, furniture becomes a medium of emotional expression, and space evolves into a “sanctuary for connection,” embodying KOKUYO’s enduring philosophy: “Design for harmonious coexistence between people and the environment.”

Spatial Innovation: Crafting a New Office-Living Experience with Furniture as the Medium

The ground floor of C³Office is the world’s first integrated space of its kind, crafted by internationally acclaimed architect Gu Yi. The concept of “C³” is rich with meaning. It breaks the boundary between office and commercial use, unifying the idea of Connection throughout. Here, “C” symbolizes the emotional bonds between people and spaces, while the “³” draws inspiration from the Chinese philosophy of “three begets all things,” implying infinite possibilities born from connection. The space blends coffee culture (Coffee), creative collaboration (Creativity), and multifunctionality.

At the same time, “C³” can also stand for Connection, Community, and Cooperation — emphasizing the role of spatial design in nurturing interpersonal bonds, building communities, and sparking collaboration.

All furniture featured in the showroom comes from KOKUYO and its sub-brand Lamex, including popular pieces like the Lamex Coves lounge series and KOKUYO’s Hang Like creative workstation collection — blurring the lines between office and commercial furniture, and showcasing flexible, comfortable, and aesthetically inspiring workspace solutions.

Strategic Evolution: From Industry Integration to Lifestyle Advocacy

The second floor of C³Office showcases the “7 Experience” ecosystem — a holistic framework outlining the future of work through seven key experiential elements. This space also presents the fusion of Lamex’s intelligent manufacturing technologies and KOKUYO’s century-long design heritage. The award-winning Any series, which garnered industry acclaim at the Shenzhen International Furniture Fair, is now on display for the first time in this upgraded showroom.

Notably, this launch marks the first collaborative initiative between KOKUYO’s furniture and stationery businesses in China. By integrating their strengths, the brands offer a more complete lifestyle experience for consumers. Limited-edition Design Awards stationery series are also available for purchase at C³Office.
